now, finally the possibility to upload pictures again!
as i said, i was in campeche, north west of merida. its an old colonial town. it is surrounded by i high wall - because of constant pirate attacs! also for protection the fort San Miguel was built, which today is an greatmuseum about the maya culture, and hosts many artefacts found in edzna, which i visited the next day!

after i had my breakfast, i was ready to go to edzna. i went there by collectivo, like a VW bus, with about 15 passengers. it leaves when it is full, and when ever you want to go outside you just tell...and when you are in the street, you just stop it! actually also the buses operate like this...also in india and so on. quite a good system compared to our busstops! anyway...i went to edzna! and when i arrived at about 9:15 am i was the first visitor and had the whole site for myself! and that was really nice! see yourself

i stayed one more night in campeche (the name of the city as well as the name of the state)! and the next day i went to palenque, chiapas! you will see the pictures in the next post!
hope you are all doing well...all the best, see you soon, sevi
