i am still in hampi, yesterday flo, xenia and alex left. it was a nice time with you, have a safe trip guys!!...and probably see you in SEA!
i tried to find out about the visa for bangladesh, its a bit tricky...i found loads of phone numbers, called many people, but no one could really answer my questions. and most of the numbers (even on the official homepages of bangladesh) did not work anyway. 15 days on arrival should be possible, hopefully more information (and days of visa!) in kolkata (calcutta). today i booked my train ticket there. hampi, where i am now is about in the middle of the southern part of india, kolkata is in the east, on the coast, next to bangladesh...i leave tomorrow (wednesday) at 2:30 pm and arrive on friday noon - its a 42 hour train ride, plus a few hours somewhere to change the train!! and i am not really sure what to think about that...
but its going to be ok, the trains are "quite" comfortable, and i have the bed at the top (which means that i can choose during the day whether to sit or lie down). maybe its hard to understand, but i will take a few pictures for you to understand better! and by the way, for the 42 hours train ride i payed about 17 euros!
firmilenge (good bye in hindi, probably spelt totally different!)
