good evening!
on the 18th of may BRAVEAURORA reintegrated the last 8 children from the former guabuliga orphanage to their extended families. now all children live at home, constant monitoring and support will continue, while the focus of my employer changes more to community development!! interesting new tasks are going to come, i am looking forward!

since the complete reintegration of all children is a real success, i organized a "reintegration celebration day", where i invited the chief of guabuliga and his elders, representatives from government organizations and partner NGOs as well as the media and of course the whole community to celebrate with us! it was a nice function, please see some pictures!

i also had a chiefs meeting, where i met him with his elders and some community members in front of his palace. some days before the meeting i had been approached by chief who requested that our NGO should buy two bundles of zink. these two bundles will be used in addition to the two bundles which the community was able to afford - to protect the wodden!! electrical polls. these polls, which bring electricity to the community, have to be protected from the yearly bush fire. at the meeting we spoke about the importance of keeping the environment clean as well as the just ended reintegration process in the community. see some pictures...

this picture was taken on a sunday on the way to one of our final
interviews for the documentary "the forgotten kingdom? the cronicles of
the north..." we went to interview the sakoti paramount chief. last week
also two more historians were interviewed in accra at the university of
ghana/legon and the material will be edited very soon. the final missing
part is then only the king in ouagadougou. i am also very curious how
it will be. i have never seen it with subtitles, inserts, voice
over,... i cant wait! and if everything goes well you will all be also
able to see it - in the cinemas around the globe!!!
if you have not seen it before, please check out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En6XBIqSPTk
BUT
DONT FORGET: this trailer is just a raw cut. the sound will be
different. there will be subtitles. there will be inserts WHO is
speaking and WHERE we are in the kingdom.
i will keep you informed about progress!
