RIP Nelson Mandela

may he rest in perfect peace. he has definately been one of the most outstanding personalities from the past century... by the way, if you want to read a book, read his autobiography "long walk to freedom". i read it many years ago in school, and can recommend it as one of the best books i have read!

it has taken really long to write here agian. sorry for that!

please see some pictures and read a bit about my life here in ghana!

it was a pleasure to have you here guys!

flo used to play soccer in germany, and i told him to bring some old jerseys because this is one of the favourite shirt for men in ghana/ africa. he brought some and we thought of how we can distribute them. we decided to interrupt the game that was played and to organize a penalty tournament. flo was the keeper, and who ever scored would qualify - untill the number of people matched with the number of jerseys! it was a lot of fun - for all of us!

hope you are all doing well! i can imagine how europe is now - busy preparing for christmas, many lights, christmas songs,... things are different here. BUT a few dasy ago i walked past a traditional house and the played a song in the radio...the music was familiar, and i realized it was "stille nacht, heilige nacht". but it was in english, "quiet night,..." and the envirnoment did not match with what comes to my mind if i hear this music. but for everyone else it watched perfectly!! it reminded me that I am different!

since i see how long it takes me to write again, i wish you already a merry christmas and a happy new year 2014!!

stay blessed ;) as ghanians would say
