...i am now almost since 3 months back in austria, but i also went to differnt countries. e.g. yesterday i was in munich to see how local people live there. i saw many people in their traditional dresses called "dirndl" for girls and "lederhosn" for boys...yes, correct, i was at the oktoberfest!!! so as you can see i am still interested in different countries and customs!
i enyoyed it a lot to be back at home, to see my family and many friends again, to be in the mountains, to be able to speak to the people and be (mostely!) understood! it is nice to be able to walk in the street without being a big attraction...it was reall nice, but thats over now!
i will go to africa!!!!! i fly on the 5th of october from munich to kampala, the capital of uganda! the country is located more or less in the center of africa, and has borders with dem. republic of the congo, the worlds youngest country south sudan, kenia, tanzania and ruanda. the border to tanzania is in the lake victoria! i will work with and for an ogrnisation called "kinderneinechance", its for children, especially orphans. they have a school, a place where the children can sleep, a farm, and finance many other schools as well. they need a project manager, and so thats for me a good chance to go to africa and have an interesting job! and to learn a lot!! i am really looking forward to that!
i hope i will find time to travel as well...and to see some of the neighbour cuntries.
i have no idea how it will be with internet, but i try to write here again every now and then. i am happy if you "come with me" to uganda with this blog. now it is much easier to leave comments a the posts - and i am happy if it is used every now and then!!
it was nice to see so many of you, and i am sure in uganda i can offer a couch or bed...if somene wants to come over for holidays!!
